Mia Middleton is a Sydney based artist whose practice spans painting and installation. Mia was in residence with the Seoul Museum of Art until March 2020 and is currently working towards exhibitions in Italy and Sydney. Mia is originally from New Zealand, and grew up between Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Mia would like to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional custodians of this land - Australia. These lands are unceded, a treaty was never reached here. This place always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
